Sadly, Alton Britt has passed away

Alton Britt, a friend and fellow shooter, pictured here in the light colored shirt near center, passed away from medical complications.
He will be missed by many.
Our prayers and condolences go out to his family and loved ones. I was honor'd to shoot with Alton recently, sure wish I had said more that day.

Competition and Training
We practice 'Practical Tactical' shooting, no extra bling, good foundation, solid basics and sound marksmanship skills. We carved out a challenging layout for target arrays. We added a true 600 yard, survey'd lane. The 600 yd lane has electronic targets installed. The 600 yard target line is level with the firing line as well.
Our range has 2 main lanes with props and challenging scenarios for matches and training.
Our main firing line is fully covered with a concrete floor and includes a restroom, gas grill, cooking area, day and night lights, ceiling fans and an elevated shooting platform. We can seat 20 people.

Great Match......
We had some challenging conditions and the cream rose to the top....
F-Open top score, Barry Holcomb with a 399-28X , 2nd Brent Bishop with a 399-23X and 3rd was Al Hankins with a 397-14X.
F-TR top score, 'Turtle' Harris with a 392-11X, 2nd KC Morrow with a 390-17X and 3rd was Dennis Busby with a 380-6X.
We had another great lunch, great fellowship and we will do it again next month.

What an interesting day......
We were blessed again to have another day to compete with friends and to seek knowledge. Thank You all, you took time away from your family to come and spend time with this one.
F-Open top score, Scott McRee 394-12x, 2nd David Decaroux 393-11x and 3rd Shannon Harris 383-12x.
F-TR top score, Alton Britt 391-16x, 2nd KC Morrow 391-14x and 3rd Gene Farris 388-10x.
The scores reflect the conditions, best yet this year!

Apr 17, 2021 Match RESULTS
Another beautiful day for shooting,,,
We were blessed with a great crowd and weather to match. We had 5-200's scored and plenty of high point strings. Several shooters came from a far, Thanks for making the 1 1/2 hr drive.
Bo Hood shot clean for the F-Open WIN! Bo's score was a 400-22X, great shooting there Bo! Al Hankins was a close 2nd with 399-29X and Barry Holcomb rounded out the top 3 with a 398-24X.
Layne Allen took Top Honors in F-TR, Lane finished 1st with a 396-18X. Alton Britt took 2nd with a 395-14X and KC Morrow rounded out the top 3 with a 391-16X.
We had another awesome lunch, great fellowship and we will do it again next month.
